ABOUT SCOTT GOODING
First and foremost I’m a father to Tashi, Zan and Anouk and a husband to Matilda. And Secondly, I’m a Chef, Holistic Nutrition and Performance coach, and Sports Nutritionist (with a background in Exercise Science).
Born to publicans in the UK I developed a taste for delicious home-cooked food which has strongly shaped my public message today. I’ve always been invested in my health and fitness but for many years in my late 20’s, I was putting my energy in the wrong place. This led to an injury that turned my life and identity upside down. For 7 long years I was at the mercy of my injury and gripped by pain and inflammation. Finally I was able to put the focus of recovery on nutrition. I dived head first into nutrition and explicitly what would serve my body and give it the necessary bandwidth to heal and repair. And it did just that!
A decade on from that decision and I’m still just as passionate about conveying the potency of natural nutrition as being therapeutic and medicinal. On my personal journey of what makes us living longer and healthier, I’ve penned 9 published books since 2013, with the latest out this September 2024.
I'm co-founder of The Good Farm (along side my wife Matilda) bringing regenerative and organic, nutrient-dense meals to doorsteps across Australia. Knowing WHERE our food comes from is integral to understanding human health and the security of our global ecosystem.
